Punjab National Bank, better known as the PNB is an Indian financial services company based in New Delhi, India. PNB is the third largest bank in India by assets. It was founded in 1894 and is currently the second largest state-owned commercial bank in India. PNB has about 5000 branches across 764 cities and it has over 37 million customers. The Bankers Almanac named the Punjab National Bank as the 248th biggest bank in the world. PNB also has a banking subsidiary in the UK and branches in Hong Kong, Dubai and Kabul. The bank also has representative offices in Almaty, Dubai, Oslo, and Shanghai.

PNB Internet Banking:

The Bank allows customers who have a computer and Internet access to their Bank accounts through Internet for viewing their accounts and transfer funds to other accounts within the Bank and other Banks as well. For example, customers can make donations and pay taxes wihtout leaving home.

PNB’s online banking service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and you can operate your account at anytime and anywhere at your convenience.

Requirements:

- A personal Computer (at least Pentium with Windows 95 or above)
- Internet Connection
- Internet Explorer (5.0 or above.)
- Registering with the Bank.

How to register to PNB’s Online Banking Service?

- Eligible customers can regist for the Online Banking Services with the branch by filling the request form or by recording their request at the bank’s call centre.

Note: The Internet Banking Service is available to PNB customers only.

How to get your User-Id and Password?

After registering your user id and password will be sent to the branch in order to ensure the highest security and safety. Once your base branch receives your information you can go to collect your user-id and password.

Non-Indians can also apply for Internet Banking Services. If you want to register for Online Banking, when you are outside India.

1. Download the request form from Internet Banking website and fill the same.
2. Submit your request form with a copy of your passport to the branch where you have account(s).

Getting your password usually takes about 6 working days after requesting for it at your base branch. If you have provided a mobile phone number, then an SMS will be sent as well.

Once you have received your password and user ID information you can visit www.pnbindia.com or www.pnbindia.in or www.netpnb.com to login to your account.
